Planning and Permitting Services
Opus Environmental provides a broad range of planning and permitting services to clients. We have managed the preparation of comprehensive planning documents in support of permit applications and for compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). We have worked with regulatory agencies throughout the country, with a focus on California. Our staff experience includes securing hundreds of permits from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, California Department of Fish and Game, and Regional Water Quality Control Boards. In addition, we have worked closely with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association Fisheries Service (NOAA Fisheries) to secure approval for projects. From this experience, we have developed long-standing relationships with staff members at almost all of the federal and California state environmental regulatory agencies, and have a firm grasp of their submittal requirements.
